Path of Exile developers have announced the Trial of the Ancestors expansion

Grinding Gear Games has announced an add-on for Path of Exile called “Trial of the Ancestors”.

In this expansion, players will visit the Karui afterlife and defeat ten tribes in a series of tournaments to earn valuable new rewards.

The August expansion includes the Trial of the Ancestors challenge league, 16 new Atlas keystones, reworking of the Ascendancy classes Defender and Warchief, 14 new support gems, and the return of a community favorite from the previous league, Forbidden Sanctum.

For each match you win, you can receive rewards. In addition to a selection of regular items, there are several new exclusive rewards that will only be available in the Trial of the Ancestors. Passive skill tree tattoos are one of these rewards. Applying a tattoo will change what stat skills grant.

The release of Path of Exile: Trial of the Ancestors should be expected on August 18, 2023.

Patch notes for changes to the current Path of Exile league have been published

Grinding Gear Games studio has published a list of changes that will become available in update 3.22.1 of the action-RPG Path of Exile. In Trials, they will add a “leave the match” button, which should be used if the heroes are in a stalemate when the totem has been eradicated.
